Chain is Gold Filled & medallion is solid polished brass. Each medallion is handcrafted here in Southern California. Medallions are polished by hand so polish Motions will vary. Do not wear this necklace in the water, do not get it wet, not even with holy water. This necklace comes wrapped in a jewelry box. It is normal for the polished Brass medallion to get darker over time. The great thing is its solid polished brass so you could either have it re-polished or you can clean it.
