Coptic Cross & Pearl Necklace

This Cross is a symbol from the Coptic Catholic Church. The early days of the Christian faith where families who chose to believe in Christ were heavily taxed, In some cases where the family was unable to pay these taxes, the empire would forcefully take away young Christian boys, convert them to Islam and transform them into state soldiers. Parents would tattoo the Coptic cross on to their children to remind them God is with them and remember to whom they belong.
